ATMA Project

ATMA Project under R.K.V.Y. Scheme – Gramin Vikas Trust (2011-12)

In the year 2011-12, Gramin Vikas Trust  successfully obtained the ATMA Project under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (R.K.V.Y.) scheme. This project aimed to improve agricultural practices and enhance the livelihoods of rural farmers.

As part of the project, GVT appointed a team of 5 Agriculture Experts and 5 Field Supervisors to implement various agricultural interventions and extension activities in the targeted areas. The recruitment process for these positions was transparent, with advertisements published through banners and publicity, inviting applications from qualified candidates.

Biodatas were collected from interested candidates, and appointment letters were issued to the selected staff, ensuring proper documentation and formalization of their roles. The appointed team members were responsible for guiding farmers on modern agricultural techniques, conducting training programs, and promoting best farming practices in the region.

The ATMA Project focused on improving agricultural productivity, enhancing soil health, and providing technical support to farmers for the adoption of new technologies. The initiative also aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture and improving the overall economic condition of farmers in rural areas.

Through the successful implementation of this project, Gramin Vikas Trust contributed to the growth and development of agriculture in the region, benefiting the local farming community and ensuring a positive impact on agricultural practices.
